Technical Team Lead / Architect
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional experience,
combining some hands on programming, internet applications, analysis,
architecture, and P&C insurance industry applications.
Description:
- Provide expert advise on technology matters
- System development, implementation, and integration of all
software and hardware components that make up the total solution
- Establish a Change Management Process; monitor, control and
ensure software and/or hardware changes are undertaken consistent
with established procedures
- Provide technical support for all insurance systems operating
in a 'production' environment
- Special projects as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- College or university degree in Computer-related studies plus
minimum of 5 years experience in application design and development
in a senior role
- Experience in designing and implementing technical and
application architectures, and architecture definition in an n-tier
environment
- Knowledge and experience with Web technologies,
protocols/cervices and portals; Relational Database Management
System; and full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge and experience in a broad range of system
development environments and programming languages, including
Windows.NET framework and Java platform.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and wireless networking
systems and architectures
