My direct client has an immediate need for a .Net Developer.
Location: Long Island
Duration: Perm
Rate: 80-90K/year
Start Date: ASAP
Summary
The .NET developer will be responsible for the design and implementation of a wide range of web based applications and web services. Candidates should have experience with the design and implementation of large scale n-tier application.
Responsibilities
Architect and Develop .NET Application Framework
Design, program, and maintain Web-based applications
Prepare & Document technical and program design specifications (including flow charts)
Manage and Plan Program Implementations into production environment
Complete & Document Unit & System Testing and assist IT Testing teams
Meet Project Deadlines
Foster communication with staff and business regarding business initiatives and direction
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all required Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox) documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
5+ years of .NET Framework experience (including .Net 3.5, WCF & Entity Framework)
5+ years of C# development experience
5+ years of experience with MS-SQL 2000/2005/2008
2+ years experience as a Technical Manager or Team Lead
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience with Full Life Cycle Software Development (Design, Coding, Testing and Implementation)
Database Design and Object Relational Mapping Design and Implementation experience
Strong technical documentation experience
Experience in Manufacturing & Distribution business applications is a plus
SoX Compliance experience is a plus
