Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – 2 full-time and 1 Contractor Open
Job Location: Westchester County, NY
Position Overview:
Senior Software Engineer to research, develop, and implement advanced internal workflow and customer
facing enterprise software solutions applied to the field of Cancer Pathology. Primary responsibilities include
requirements gathering, system design, and software development. The candidate will work with the various
functional departments to formulate product concepts and specify requirements for the Company’ s internal
digital imaging and lab workflow systems as well as customer facing components. The candidate will use his/
her experience with web based image applications to design easy to use solutions to the product requirements.
Responsible for capturing user requirements, working with management to prioritize, writing design
specifications, implementing code, and coordinating engineering verification testing. Responsible for
conducting periodic technical reviews of in-house developed software to ensure conformance to coding
standards in a regulated medical environment. Develop and maintain a positive business relationship with all
stakeholder departments.
Candidate will proactively identify new trends and technologies for application within the company, review
and evaluate the capabilities of existing systems, and possess a clear understanding of software development.
Overview of Basic Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’ s degree, with a proven track record of development of web based
applications:
Must have proven track record in developing web based applications.
• Proficient in capturing and documenting user requirements.
• Proficient in database schema design and n-tier software architecture design.
• 5+ Years ASP.NET experience.
• 5+ Years Winforms and/or WPF experience.
• Proficient in SQL/T-SQL.
• Proficient with IIS.
• Experience with Web Services or WCF.
• Experience with Perl a plus.
• Experience with AJAX a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide team technical guidance.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Commercial application experience is a strong plus.

Salary Range is $100-$115k, plus 10% bonus target – for full-time
