Title : Production support Architect
Role: supporting .Net/SharePoint/IIS and Java/Websphere implementations.
Skills needed / absolute must:
Must possess keen interest in technology, forensics, troubleshooting and problem solving. Someone who -needs- to keep digging until an answer is found. Very good debugging skills Wintel / IIS environmental & Config files.
Experience supporting Net/IIS and Java/Websphere implementations,
Working knowledge and experience Windows 2003/2008 server
Some scripting/development skills and working knowledge of SQL
Strong experience in web services and SOA architecture and experience in supporting SharePoint-hosted apps.
Real-world experience supporting a wide-variety of technologies including HTTP servers, databases, Windows/Unix/Linux, load-balancers, single-sign-on, network design, as well as application platforms in a large-scale user setting.
Practical, hands-on, usage of troubleshooting and diagnostic tools like Fiddler /Log parser
Should be able to provide technical guidance & trouble-shooting assistance to other team members
Knowledge on Plug-ins will be a Plus.
Architectural:
Should be Capable of designing technical solutions based on ad-hoc environmental issues. Should be capable of thinking beyond the issue.
Should be able to assess environmental performance & scalability impacts of proposed solutions.
.Strong in Production support / Technology concepts and Support best practices.
Non Technical:
Excellent oral and written communication.
