Our client, one of the largest hedge fund managers in the world, is looking to bring on a Sr. Sharepoint Architect. The current infrastructure they have is very basic, so they are looking to start over from scratch and roll it out throughout the company. This initiative is backed by senior management and there is a large budget set aside to make sure it is successful. This person would be the subject matter expert for the company and would have the opportunity to build a team he/she would manage. Our client is located in southern Connecticut and will pay relocation assistance if needed.

Senior .NET / Silverlight Developer Position

Essential Job Function


Responsible for assisting in the planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation of Silverlight based web solutions.

Collaborate with Business/Functional Analyst in analyzing operational procedures, identifying problems and recommending technical solutions

Responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery of applications for each project.

Effectively manage the day-to-day tasks and activities to effectively meet the project deliverables and schedule, and coordination with offshore.

Skills, Education and Experience

BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or demonstrate equivalent training or technical experience.

Relevant experience in Microsoft Technologies.

2+ years hands-on programming experience with Silverlight.

Good programming, code development, code debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills utilizing SQL.

Experience working within a .NET environment with an understanding of ASP.NET and C#.

Senior .Net Web Developer for 3-4 months contract in Downtown Chicago

I’m partnered with a successful integrated marketing, print and web design firm in Downtown Chicago. Right now they’re in need of two .Net Web Developers for a 3-4+ month contract developing websites with messages.
