Project Description:
This application has been existence for thirty years as a VMS DIBOL “CUI Green Screen” application. The application manages the operations for Credit Unions.
The customer needs to provide a GUI for the application in order to keep their current customer base and sell to new customers.
The DIBOL codebase has been exposed to .NET using XFServer Plus. This product provides an interface to .NET that executes remote procedure calls to the DIBOL code base. For this to operate successfully, significant changes are required to the DIBOL codebase.
An MVC pattern has been followed to date using WPF and .NET under a windows smart client application. “Click Once” deployment is used.
At this time, 50% of the application has been developed under the GUI approach. The application is planned to launch as a beta in late spring of 2010.
There are multiple aspects to this project moving forward:
* Complete the GUI Version – There is a goal to complete the GUI / DIBOL Application in 2010. It is important to have a feature complete version of the application so the current customer base is happy.
* Design Future Architecture – The future architecture and a plan to implement it will be developed in 2010.
* Deliver Future Application – the future application will be delivered in 2011.
Candidate Requirements
* Full experience with the Microsoft .NET Stack, .NET 3.5, Smart Clients, WPF, SQL Server WCF, Web Development, Visual Studio, MVC.
* Demonstrate-able Experience required in 80% of the following areas: Test Driven Development, Automated Builds, Continuous Integration, Version Control Merging / Branching Strategies, Agile Development, Refactoring, Sequence Diagrams, State Charts, Class Diagrams, Team Foundation Server, Domain Driven Design, Layered Architecture, Separation of Concerns, SCRUM, Offshore Experience.
* Demonstrate-able
Experience in: Estimation, Requirements Gathering, Proposals, Leadership, Status Reporting, C-Level communication Skills.
* Excellent written skills (Provide past work product examples)
* Minimum of ten years of architectural and leadership experience.
* Experience working with all levels of people in a firm
* Must be able to work some overlap hours in the India Timezone.
* This is a KOP Position. There is a requirement to be a part time in Columbus Ohio. There will be a requirement to travel to other locations 50% of the time.
* Offshore Experience desired.
* The start of the engagement is contingent on winning the project.
* Experience with Team Foundation Server form an Application Life Cycle perspective highly desirable.
Interview Process:
· Each candidate will be phone screened for about 30 mins. People who pass the phone screening will be scheduled for in person interviews.
· The personal interviews will involve Prime Executive Team.
· The candidate will be expected to bring examples of past work products for review.
· The will also be expected to discuss specific past examples of experience that will demonstrate success.
· There will also be whiteboard discussions about architectural options and technical solutions.
