Microsoft invited Stone Bond Technologies to participate in the SharePoint 2010 TAP Program, because we enable SharePoint to have ‘codeless’ / ‘out of the box’ integration with ANY application and/or database (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Lawson, Salesforce.com, SCADA, Mainframe ...). Additionally we enable SharePoint to aggregate data from multiple sources to a single SharePoint list; which as you know SharePoint is natively limited to a single data source at any one time. Most customers only view SharePoint as a collaboration and document management solution. We immediately change the market perception of SharePoint, because SharePoint with Stone Bond is a Corporate Portal (live view) into enterprise data.

Once discovered, it will save the data schema as metadata. This provides the ability to have a virtual connection with real-time (live data view) access to the data where it resides. Since the schema information is stored as metadata, it is never necessary to compile and deploy assemblies when creating or modifying a dynamic data model. AppComms are part of an architecture that decouples the knowledge of how to connect to a particular type of application or data source. An AppComm is completely metadata driven and is reusable in its "off-the shelf" form without any modification; which is not the case with traditional api / web service ‘adapters’. Our AppComm technology eliminates the need for staging databases and thereby simplifies the IT architecture and speed in which integration happens and information is delivered.
