SW Contractor position.
Windows Application developer (C#).
They will generally be working on the UI applications, strong Winforms experience with exposure to WPF. 
Develop PC/Windows-based User Interface (UI) software for automated laboratory instrumentation using WinForms and WPF.

Responsibilities:
• Develop C# Windows Applications code for Automated Laboratory Instrument using WinForms and WPF.
• Support development with relevant documentation in a regulated (FDA) environment as required.
• Provide technical updates to project leadership for all ongoing work assignments.
• Strictly adhere to company defined software coding standards, processes and procedures.
• Prepare for and participate in code reviews of peers’ and personally written code.
Qualifications:

• Minimum 7-10 years professional software development experience; minimum 3 years experience using C#, .NET for Windows operating system with strong UI development experience using WinForms.
• Some exposure to WPF.
• Some exposure to SQL Server.
• Ability to work on complex development tasks – including new code development, new features to existing code, and code maintenance.
• Excellent problem solving skills with minimal assistance.
• Experience in software development of Windows-based PC Applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to work from detailed specifications, from defect report items, as well as the ability to come up with solutions that fix specific newly reported problems or requests.
• Ability to effectively work with other team members in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions to other team members.
• Quick learner – able to pick up new concepts – both software development centric as well as business domain knowledge. Self-teaching learning capability is a plus.
• Life Sciences, Medical, laboratory instrumentation, and/or robotic control experience is a plus, but not required.
• BS degree in Computer Science, or other qualified Engineering degree is required or equivalent.
