Software Architect / Tech Lead full time position in Manhattan

My client in the Mid-Town Manhattan area has an immediate need for a Software Architect/Tech Lead to fill a full time postion. Even if you aren’t looking maybe you can pass this along to your friends that may be looking?

Range: 120-150K- plus bonus - plus stock options.

Responsibilities:
• Serves as a “hands-on” technical lead for a complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, unit testing and deployment of a .NET Web Platform.
• Architect and maintain a scalable, flexible system.
• Coordinates with management, client representatives, and IT, to negotiate release features and functionality.
• Map new features and requirements on application modules, design their functionality and interfaces, and oversee implementation by with one or more programmers.
• Perform prototyping and simulation of critical design elements to ensure that they are both practical and meet performance, security, and other non-functional requirements.
• Work with DBA to maintain a well designed, scalable production database (including staging, processes for loading and integrating external data feeds, etc.)
• Identify, recommend and pursue new technology/practices to apply to solution.
• Document technical standards and mentors development personnel in their use.
• Provide leadership, project planning, and work guidance to programmers and DBAs.

Position Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in analysis, architecture, design and development of multi-tiered web-based applications on Microsoft technologies
• Must have played Tech Lead and (Sr.) Architect roles
• Proficient in modern web technologies, including .NET 3.5/4.0, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, IIS 6.0/7.0, SQL Server 2005/2008
• Proven experience with scalable database systems (including design, data integration and loading, data marts, OLAP cubes, etc.)
• Experience with state-of-the-art User Interface development (wire-framing, working with designers)
• Experience working with software development life cycles, agile development methodologies, interfacing with clients and client requests
• Strong communication skills
• Experienced in effort estimation and planning for development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
