Our client's is leading the industry in the managing of clinical research data. Currently looking for a Software Development Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
Looking for a Software Development Manager that is energetic, driven and able to capitalize on supporting and enhancing our client's platform. You will have the ideal blend of deep technical knowledge and strong team management skills, with technical development background in Microsoft based enterprise development environments. As a manager, you will have strong team building skills and track record managing teams of 3 to 5 developers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Work with client’s support and development team as a member during the end-to-end development and delivery life cycle of projects that range from small to large in size.
Provide expert level ASP.NET programming guidance.
Provide expert level abilities in database design, development, and enhancement of the client's solution.
Contribute to the clients platform systems’ architecture analysis, design, development and enhancement.
Provide technical input and support when needed.
Assist in the creation of future products through weekly/daily team meetings, assisting in documentation and providing feedback to other developers and the rest of the team for new future enhancements.
Requirements
Full time position.
Post-secondary Degree in Computer Science
Prior experience with database management methodologies, technologies and standards
Intermediate experience in .NET programming concepts
Intermediate experience in OO technologies
Intermediate experience in web application design, development and implementation of small to medium projects
Must have a strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly
Strong problem solving skills. You much be passionate about your ability to always find solutions to customers needs
Strong understanding of the application design and architecture
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with difficult situations and conflict
IMPECCABLE communication both written and verbal
Must be self-motivated and goal driven
Knowledge of AGILE and SCRUM
You should posses the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to work in a team environment
